在经过了一年多的持续热销和年底圣诞季高潮之后，任天堂的Wii和DS平台将在今年上半年迎来更多新游戏，单是北美地区就会有大约150款。
目前Wii平台游戏已达195款，今年头六个月还会再增加65款，比较重要的第一方大作有《高级大战争：毁灭之日》、《超级明星大乱斗X》、《马里奥赛车》等等，Wii Wheel、Wii Fit也会登陆北美市场，WiiWare游戏下载服务也会很快上线。
DS游戏阵营已经有将近500名成员，半年内还会再迎来80款新游戏，比如《纵横填字字谜》。
第三方游戏也是相当多，Wii方面有EA的《忍者反应力》、育碧的《英雄不再》、LucasArts的《星球大战：原力解放》、THQ的《deBlob》、Capcom的《Okami》等等，DS方面则有Square Enix的《最终幻想水晶编年史：命运之环》、Tecmo的《忍者龙剑传：龙剑》、育碧的《瑜伽速成训练》等。
